From diagnosis to treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis – the long journey of Eunice, Kenya

Eunice had a fever, her legs were painful, sometimes swollen. This prompted her to see a doctor and after some tests, she was told she had multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). She is now on a 18-month treatment, taking 13 pills per day. On the occasion of World TB Day, Eunice and her doctor talk to us on the realities of MDR-TB treatment in Kenya.
