The Global Accelerator for Paediatric Formulations (GAP-f) was pleased to co-host a high-level side event during the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA78), held on 20 May 2025, from 18:30 to 20:30 CET, at Jardin de Penthes in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event, titled “Strengthening the Global Ecosystem for Paediatric Medicines: Leadership, Collaboration & Impact,” brought together global health leaders, technical experts, policymakers, and advocates to explore solutions for improving access to essential paediatric medicines.

This side event was co-organised by Temasek Foundation, Medicines for Malaria Venture, Medicines Patent Pool, Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP), Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the International AIDS Society (IAS), on behalf of GAP-f.

The event focused on strengthening the ecosystem that supports the development, approval, and uptake of paediatric medicines—with a focus on leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and impact-driven action.
