MPP is committed to creating a work environment that values human dignity and equality; we strive to drive performance by empowering our diverse workforce to use their unique skills, ideas, perspectives, and qualities every day; and we support staff in realising their full potential.
Our Governance Board, Expert Advisory Group (EAG), Advisory Panels and staff members reflect gender equality, and geographic diversity where inclusion is encouraged.
MPP is deeply committed to ensuring that all members of the organisation can access and enjoy the same rewards, resources and opportunities, regardless of gender.
MPP acknowledges that supporting gender equity and equality is of paramount importance to ensure a technically strong MPP.
This is why we strive to guarantee gender diversity by ensuring gender balance, at all level of the organisation: Board, Expert Advisory Group, Advisory Panels and staff positions. With gender balance, we mean ensuring that 50% of the positions are covered by women.
MPP’s efforts are recognised annually by Global Health 50/50, which assesses gender-related policies across 200 global health organisations. Read about MPP’s latest ranking.
Launched in May 2024, this policy reinforces MPP’s commitment to gender equality by supporting women with painful periods and those transitioning into menopause
I am very proud of being part of MPP, which I consider both a privilege and an enormous responsibility. I am glad that, through my own skills set and experience, I can complement the work of talented colleagues, and help strengthen the MPP work and impact. Having a role within an organisation making such a tangible and direct contribution to expanding equitable access to quality, affordable life-saving medicines for populations across the world is truly a huge professional and personal motivation.
What drew me to MPP was its unique model: a non-profit mechanism that turns patented medicines into affordable treatments for people in low- and middle-income countries. Being able to track each licence from development to market allows me to see the tangible impact our work has on access to medicines.
Being part of the MPP lets me play a meaningful role in making access to essential medicines fairer worldwide, alongside dedicated teams. MPP’s public health driven licensing model turns collaboration, transparency, and innovation into practical impact. In my role, I improve the quality and accessibility of patent information for medicines—giving partners the clarity to accelerate access to affordable, life saving treatments.
Working at MPP means collaborating with smart, energised people who take their responsibility seriously. What excites me most is the tangibility of our work: we are often dealing with medicines that are proven to work, yet many who need them don’t have access, and we’re working to change that.
I joined MPP because I wanted to contribute to an organisation that truly impacts global health and access to medicines. For me, working here is meaningful, impactful, and deeply collaborative.
I joined MPP because I wanted to contribute to bridging the gap in access to quality-assured, lifesaving medicines, particularly in low- and middle-income countries that are often neglected. Working here, I’ve come to appreciate just how complex and impactful out-licensing truly is. It’s not simply about signing agreements with innovators or sublicensing to generic manufacturers, it’s about navigating global health priorities, market dynamics, and legal frameworks, all while seeking sustainable solutions to save lives. Being part of that process is what makes my work at MPP so meaningful and fulfilling.
I wanted to join an organisation committed to human rights and global health equity. For me, communication is a powerful tool to raise awareness and mobilise action on global challenges. At MPP, I’m proud to be part of a mission that improves access to medicines worldwide and brings hope to people in need.
